Understanding
Purpose & Karma

bashi December 2004

As we move into the new year of 2005 the understanding of Karma and Purpose become paramount to easing the birthing pains of Transition. It has become more and more apparent that really there are just two major things going on and everything else stems from the misunderstanding of this subject.

Purpose = the lessons we have already learnt being put into Action.
Karma = completing the lessons we chose to learn in this life-time.

Many of us are truly caught up in the "drama" of the implications of Karma. I don't even like using the word because it means different things to different people. My understanding is that karma is truly the lessons we committed to learn in this lifetime and have not yet completed. It is not about wrong doings or punishment; many people are teaching that Karma has finished now that we have moved to the next dimension(s) but in that case we are just using the words in different contexts. My interpretation of Karma is learning the lessons to complete the healing - if we dismiss them now, we miss in this lifetime, the opportunity to complete our Soul lessons and also to carry out our Purpose. It is often harder for sensitive people who very easily carry the Karma for others whilst absorbing negativity in general, to let-go and release burdens that are not theirs and then conscientiously work on their own soul lessons.

The energies may be available for us to move into new dimensions but the old patterns will not allow us to access them. Last year I saw some dramatic spontaneous healing at very deep levels but the majority are slower and show as much more subtle shifts. I agree with others that the Soul Journey during the "Process of Transition" can take several years however most of the clients I work with, have been on their journeys already for many years. If you are familiar with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and have had no or limited success with it, this is because again, you are likely to be trying to clear issues that are not yours and remain un-surrendered by the other person(s). We can heal for others (especially animals) but that is only when they are completely surrendered and we have not embraced the illness or issue as ours.

Now on our "Purpose", for many people, particularly if you have a high level of sensitivity you will have already completed your work on the higher chakras. In fact, you had completed them before you even entered this incarnation. Our "Purpose" in this lifetime is very familiar to us because we brought the gifts with us, in other words they are the lessons we had already learned. In general we already knew about Love, Truth and Compassion and committed to live it offering to be "examples" of a different way of Being. Here lays the problem for many a sensitive Soul!

So if our "Purpose" safely lies in the higher chakras, our Karma is in the lower three. Our "Purpose" waits patiently as we clear the lower chakras and ultimately having done so, our "Purpose" can restart to manifest and move forward again. However if we try to keep moving forward with our "Purpose" whilst not attending to the "Karma" we will find ourselves experiencing pain and needless stress. Our livelihoods will appear to dry up and our energy will deplete; hence this is not an option.

In conclusion; this lifetime offers an enormous opportunity for spiritual growth; it also heralds the necessity to let go of the understanding that "all is one" the mantra that belongs to the Heart chakra and the three higher chakras and of course that holds our Purpose and move into the lower chakras where the necessity to understand Boundaries is again essential for wholeness, health and healing. "We create our own reality" and Boundaries, chakras one, two and three versus Surrender, Let go and let God, chakras four, five, six and seven.

We know about the higher chakras, we have spent lifetimes learning the lessons of the higher chakras, this work cements the spiritual into the physical. An excellent piece of advice is to "Do what is possible and the impossible will manifest of its own accord". Apologies I do not know who to credit that to!
