Sue's story

This was a lady I met, nine or ten years ago, whilst still working as a Property Consultant in Bristol.

She was a lovely lady, kind, giving and efficient in her part-time admin and reception post.

One day I noticed she was upset and covering up some bruising to the face. She broke down and told me in distress about her sons; both drug addicts and alcoholics, how they had never worked and were now both in their early 30's. She had loved, supported and tried to help them; she tried to counsel them, tried to get them to step programs/therapy groups, she stopped giving them money and instead gave them food or clothes. In return whenever they were desperate (which was often) they broke into her house and stole and sold whatever they could find.

In a desperate move to escape from them she did actually up and move to another town, fifty miles away. They found her and it started again. As one would expect Sue had other problems, both financial physical and emotional. She was very overweight probably a size 22/24 but her face always glowed with love and sparkle.

At the time I was still practicing as a hands on healer and I suggested she visit one evening which she did. Sue had a couple of sessions with me and reported she felt calmer and was sleeping much better. I didn't really feel I could do much more although she did attend a self help group I was also running at the time.

I must assume reading this that you are very likely sensitive and aware of our abilities to pick up, feel and process the emotions of others. You may also be aware that sometimes we experience an "energy change" where through intercession by Spirit or we could call it a "gift of grace" karma is lifted from us, enabling healing to take place at what I think is a change to our DNA.

One Saturday morning, Sue telephoned me and asked me if I was going into her office over the weekend and I replied that I was. She asked if I could collect her bag which she had forgotten, it was under her desk. The following day, with my partner I popped in and whilst he did some work on the computer I found Sue's bag and we left. As we drove away I suddenly felt a severe pain in my second chakra area or just above the groin, used to this I though "Oh no" where is this coming from. My partner sensing something was wrong looked at me and then at Sue's bag - and stopping the car - he took the handbag and put it in the boot. We drove on but it was too late and I was crippled with pain. I won't go into the hours that followed but there was no alleviating the pain. I huddled in a foetal position just rocking trying to relieve the "labour like" pains that wracked my body. This was not a new experience to me but it was one of the most intense from beginning to end; the end being at least ten hours later. In recovery the following day, a close friend telephoned immediately asking what was wrong (she was one of the most gifted clairvoyant, clairaudient healers I have ever met). I told her my experience and why my energy was still so low; and as she checked she asked if I had spoken to the lady and I replied "No" I had not seen the point in doing so. She said, well when you do, ask her how she is, because she experienced almost a complete energy change and you appeared to do most of it for her. She continued saying obviously she will not know it was you but I think she was planning to commit suicide.

Two days later I saw Sue and as I walked into the office she looked up and smiled. She got up and closed the door, turned and faced me and said, something has happened to me, I don't know what but I know you had something to do with it. I look different, I feel different and I am different and all I know is that on Sunday I was going to kill myself. We hugged and neither of us knew what to say.

At that point Sue had already joined a gym, gone on a diet, refused to see her sons and threatened them with the police. I didn't see her for nearly three months and she telephoned and suggested we met for lunch.

She walked into the restaurant, she had lost a lot of weight, and she looked confident, smart and radiating energy. She had met a lovely man and had moved back to the city she had run away from to escape her sons.

Sue very much experienced "moving into Universal flow" and what had been impossible for her to achieve before, was now comparatively effortless. I cannot promise you will receive that all at once, more often we receive it through smaller shifts and changes but we do receive it!

Many years later I asked a very enlightened Canadian kundalini teacher, why I could not seem to direct my healing energies more accurately? She laughed and said "be grateful God/dess chooses to work through you as and when s/he feels fit."

There is a distinct difference to working with directed energy as in Reiki or Tai chi than experiencing Kundalini or Shakti - there is no way you can direct it, you can only be a vessel for the divine to work through and that I believe is what "Surrender" is all about.

I no longer or very rarely experience the "pain" of this type of energy transference and I believe it is because I am working consciously and conscientiously for Spirit. However sometimes something just happens and there is no explanation for how or why and after all we do not need to know why "God works in mysterious ways".

Postscript

A short while after that episode, I was woken one night to hear a voice saying "Empathy is a pathway to Healing in the footsteps of Christ". I wrote it down and lay there thinking about it. I never heard or was given anymore until years later when one night I wrote the following:

If this statement interests you, then you are likely to be fourth centre dominant or heart chakra being. Not to be confused with taught empathy; pure clairsentients are born with a natural healing gift. However, unconsciously you are probably carrying the physical and emotional issues of others. This will cause exhaustion various unexplained pains and illnesses and your heightened sensitivity can lead to depression as normal healing practices fail to work.

With some people there appears to be no choice, their Spirit seems to react in a way beyond logical understanding. An apparent selfless pursuit of duty that goes beyond our personal awareness and the human need to know why. From an archetypal perspective, the energy of Jesus as a prophet and martyr seems to be distributed most strongly through natural clairsentients. However the love of any deity particularly Buddha has also been seen in the same aspect calling to light Jesus and Buddha as brothers. One master of the fourth chakra and the other the sixth.

Maybe wrongly I placed it as an advertisement for The Clairsentient Body; many people were interested wanting more of what they called these "Jesus & Buddha teachings" but I didn't have any more to give. Although in my heart I know this link exists connecting Compassion with the pure of heart.

More recently an American Empathic teacher and author told a story that at a time of overwhelm with the pressure of work and really feeling she could not go on, she called to Jesus; she was not religious per se. She said she experienced a vision and Jesus did indeed come to her and he said he would help but she must ask and from then on she worked directly with Jesus, evoking Jesus, Mary and Joseph (amongst others) prior to all her healing work. She said she had a sense he was the patron Saint of Empaths.
