The sacred sensitivity nine month program I am delighted you are joining this study program of "understanding our Sacred Sensitivity". This course of study is definitely not suitable for everyone; the content could be easily misunderstood hence wrongly judged and applied.
You will have read the sample Consultation prior to undertaking this work and will be familiar with my terminology and some of the concepts. If I make reference to something that you are not familiar with or not completely clear as to the context I am using it, please go back and re read the home page and sample consultation for clarification. A lot of my work differs, even in apparent contradiction to what is taught not only by orthodox medical & religious practitioners but often complimentary & spiritual healers and teachers.
I would like to take this opportunity now and say that no-one is wrong but it is about finding what feels right for us as individuals. Once I overcame my reluctance to follow what I felt rather than what I was told, I found some interesting facts; the first being that no one person, body or practice seemed to hold all the answers to understanding high sensitivity. From a personal point of view it was in those contradictions that I started to find the answers as to why I did not heal like others appeared to do so. With every new course, book, workshop or spiritual practice I felt the need to study harder, focus longer & pushed myself when the pain and often criticism of others made me feel inadequate and totally dysfunctional. Slowly as the truth emerged I held fast to every tiny fragment that slowly revealed the beautiful understanding of our journey, which I now think of as learning to "Live & Love with Sacred Sensitivity." I also give heartfelt thanks to three people sent to me in physical form to give credence to my work.
On reflection I would like you to consider holding this "understanding" in your heart, for it is the reason why I believe this Course is not suitable for everyone. The qualities that you were born with as a highly sensitive person and a strong connection to Source, are what most, if not all spiritual disciplines teach you to aim and strive to acquire. Hence you do not need to learn about "truth" you are Truth! You do not need to learn about Compassion, you are Compassion. Your struggle is not to acquire these attributes but to "accept" them as who you already are and in that acceptance to let go of the karma acquired whilst in denial of your true Self.
In conclusion, your true Self, represents a high level of Purity and a Power that only goes hand in hand with Humility. Please understand your problems in this world are not Ego centered and those teachings are no more relevant than mine are for seekers looking for practices to dismantle the Ego - my teachings for them would probably feed it!
Love & light to us all, bashi Page 1 of 25
HOW TO WORK WITH MONTH ONE
Take it slowly there is no need to try and practise everything at once & this applies to every month/module. If you have just received a Consultation a lot of what you read in the first pages numbered 2 - 10 will be fairly familiar albeit expanded. You need to read and reread these pages because the constant reinstatement of who you are is needed to undo and replace the negative opinion(s) & incorrect information you held before.
You are probably not experienced enough yet to recognise when your vibration drops; these pages are tools to help you lift it again after you have taken a fall.
You may like to print and hi-lite parts that are particularly resonating with you. Try and keep one clean copy, the reason being that as you evolve and master different aspects of the work, on rereading you will recognise other truths - you do not necessarily want to be reading your old thoughts at that point (although it is always useful to look back and see our growth!)
Pages 11 - 15 continue on with Grounding and further expansion on the primary work - these too are important pages so do re-read when necessary.
Pages 16 - 17 this is a technique for those of you who have frozen energy; most of us do! Cycling panic and anxiety attacks in confrontational situations which we normally try and avoid at our own cost. If this feels right and important then it can be undertaken now; don't rush just take it easily and slowly - doing only what feels right to you. Remember you are planting a new seed and it has to grow for a while before it pushes up through the earth.
Pages 18 is Empathic Grounding ... it is a really good method to keep you focused in the here and now - Heart beings rarely have a good connection to Earth - grounding all three lower chakras definitely helps; so if you are really spacey & ungrounded ... this technique is one for now. You will get very quick at it - only takes a few minutes when you wake up - do it lying in bed; Wake, stretch and practise!
Pages 19 & 20 Boundaries and Defining your Aura - this is essential and you will be well aware and hopefully already practicing. Page 21 The Aura Light Forgiveness Healing Meditation .. Information only you will know when the time comes to use this. We cannot forgive too soon but I include it in Month One because it is a particularly beautiful experience and strengthens your aura work.
Page 22 - 23 Healing the children; information only again this is very useful in understanding that the emotions we feel most uncomfortable with often stem from our frustrated and "lost in time" children. If it feels good to you now then try it, if not leave it until it resonates with you.
Page 24 is a lovely example of how we can stay in despair when help is but a breath away.
In conclusion; Don't Worry, take your own time, relax and remember "Healing is a journey not an event." The most import thing now is ....... "To remember who you are".

Hallo & welcome to the first month of "The Guide to Living & Loving with Sacred Sensitivity".
WHO WE ARE I would like to share the following with you; an established method of identifying our way of experiencing the "outside" world or Society as we know it is called the Sensory Representational System & refers to Visual, Auditory Total & Literals & Kinaesthetic.
The description for Kinaesthetic or Feeling individuals and how we appear to others under stress is as follows:
POSITION OF EYES WHEN STRESS TESTED Stay strong looking straight down. Need to look down to stay centred hence stay with own feelings and own truth.
FOCUS: in the Here and Now.
MAJOR STANCE WHEN UNDER STRESS PRIMARILY GOVERNED BY NOT WANTING TO HURT THE OTHER. "I cannot bear for you to feel wrong"
MAJOR CHARACTERISTICS UNDER STRESS Become confused, cannot think - overwhelmed with feeling. Lose own truth and words. Usually lose arguments Feel, look and act powerless. Avoid confrontation partly because they are so open that the energy goes straight to the heart and it hurts. Feelings are facts and make decisions primarily by their feelings.
BEHAVIOUR IN A DISAGREEMENT Difficulty making eye contact Say "I am sorry" a lot Frustrate others with being too compliant Fail to ask for what they want Can tend to agree with anything, just so the other is not upset/hurt or to keep the peace.
NATURAL STRENGTHS WHEN NOT UNDER STRESS Are pleasant for others to be with Cannot bear to hurt or cause others pain Compassionate Right-brained Sensitive to taste and smell Non-judgemental Good listeners & make others feel at ease and comfortable Continue to see the goodness or highest potential in others Regard peace a major objective in life Page 3 of 25
The first module (3 months) will comprise of the following the basic work
1. Reinstating the Practice: 2. Defining our "Personal" space felt as Empowering rather than "fear based protection"; taking back what you "gave away" in the past! 3. Grounding yourself & your three lower chakras into the "Earth (Mother) energy". 4. Empathic Heart Meditation
This work in itself would be of benefit because at its core are fundamental truths of how we as spiritual beings can evolve to a higher state of consciousness. However, whilst I believe there is no compromise for "Truth" - there are always higher levels of awareness that makes the original "Truth" whilst not wrong but inappropriate at the next level. The answer lies in finding the "truth" at all the levels and not being fixed to any particular point of view. There are always exceptions to the general rule and it is in those "exceptions" that I found "truths" of healing from the "pains of this world" for people with "heightened sensitivity".
I want to share a journey with you as you explore your own levels of sensitivity and how they are currently affecting your way-of-being in this lifetime.
To enable us to do this, we need to embrace and integrate the basic skills until they become part of who we are. So simply speaking we add them to our "automatic" behaviour list.
What is automatic behaviour?
It is any attitude (pattern of behaviour or posture) that is a reaction to a situation which does not involve our conscious awareness. In other words we "react" to something rather than "responding". This can be referred to as the Shadow. Example: Someone shouts and we immediately feel threatened. Someone asks us a question and we immediately feel they are judging or criticising us and we need to "defend" ourselves.
At this stage we normally have two ways of behaving: We "swallow" it down or "repress" We "attack" "or express" ... this is automatic behaviour!
Often our automatic behaviour has served us well but now and probably for many years it is holding us captive to patterns that no longer work for us. I have found that for sensitive beings, rather than trying to use will-power or trying to pull them out at the root, there is a requirement for more subtle methods. This is because for us it often involves more physical and emotional pain than the "average person" would feel. Often people in many guises tell us how to do it and then wonder why we can't; at that point we feel as if we are failing to measure up to what others can achieve with apparent ease.
So initially, the best approach is that we "detach" and leave them (our patterns) alone, other than practicing interested observation. So now, having brought them to awareness we shine a light on them through our observation; this starts to pull them out of the Shadow and at this stage you need do no more than observe.
During the observation period, (you may already do this) keeping notes in a journal helps - one reason is, it frees up the space in our mind and allows us to relax having "filed" the information safely away. Write down any reoccurring thoughts and having done so, again just detach and let go.
The second method is we start to add the "basic skills" to our list of automatic behaviours. Now the reasoning behind this strategy is quite simple; we are diluting our negative reactions by including the possibility of "automatically" selecting a positive reaction. The reason why so many people fail to heal is that they only address this at the mental level and it then relies on will-power. Learning to say "No" with a view to creating boundaries is hugely important but at the Spiritual and Energetic level if the boundaries have been weakened to such a state they are non-existent, then that "mental" focus alone will not work. All the effort in the world cannot fill a bucket with a hole in it!
Prior to re-looking at the basic skills, we are going to reaffirm who we are. Most of us never knew who we were. We just held beliefs given to us by others of what was "wrong" with us and how other people thought we should become. The only changes we need to make now are to "Change back to what we were and truly Embrace who we are!" Page 5 of 25 Who you are:
1. Highly Sensitive Being born with a "strong connection" to Source. This act of service has been earned over many past sequential good life times.
The implications of that alone are of paramount importance to your understanding of the difficulties you are encountering in this lifetime. Source is Love! Your primary way of experiencing the world is through your "feelings" and our feelings do not lie hence you know the "Truth" of the matter - & that truth is Love ....... but we know Love is not predominant on this planet, Fear is hence you as a Being of "Love" face your first problem!
Depending on your earlier life experiences and your own particular levels of sensitivity you will have tried to "fit in"; either to gain approval and be loved or just to survive the differing traumas experienced by being the "misunderstood/difficult" one within a family/group unit.
This early behaviour can shift from an "anxiety to please"/be good" to the opposite "outward rebellion". You will have interacted with fear based patterns of behaviour and again just to survive you will conceal &/or close down your high level of awareness. You will begin to believe what other people told you. You may have exited your body very early and spent most of your childhood in disassociation.
General psychotherapy is not very helpful at this level; if the spirit is out of the body then you cannot heal something that is not there. Extensive meditation can also become an out of body practice and does not help us heal to function in this world. This is very much an Empathic challenge holding potential growth for this lifetime. 2. A six Sensory Being born to embrace life through love and show through example another way of Being. To serve as a pattern breaker to end negative ancestral & societal behaviours.
A six sensory Being means you have gifts of "knowing" beyond the five senses. You are likely to have closed them down because You feared (do fear) violence or animosity; or you were sneered or laughed at.
These gifts were not acceptable or understood by others; parents (family) had not honoured their own abilities.
Fear overrode Truth .................. this is hugely important to understand and I cover it in detail in the Grounding page. Page 6 of 25
3. A Catalyst for change. Highly sensitive Beings are often catalysts for change, meaning they have Shakti energy in their Auric Field. They will serve as a reflector to "others" mirroring back the others shadow material thus enabling the other persons growth by recognition.
However ................... This can often cause the Being a difficult childhood where they can become the target for parental/sibling abuse. I will be discussing how this manifests energetically in more detail later in the course. 4. The potential to use "now" which is this lifetime and its enormous opportunity for Spiritual growth thus enabling completion of our own Karmic Lessons which lie in the lower chakras.
5. To attain the full understanding of Compassion and Sacrifice.
6. Total Acceptance of your own Purity.

THE basic work
In the previous pages
- I have reinstated who we are.
- Suggested we practice awareness but without any strong intention to change; AWARENESS but WITH DETACHMENT.
- Reiterate the need for reinstatement of the "Basic skills" and working towards them becoming automatic behaviour.
You will be aware of the basic skills having at least read the Sample consultation but we will cover them again in detail.
These are the facts:
- Highly Sensitive People have a pattern of spending too much time "out of body" - this has sometimes been caused by early trauma or finding yourself somewhere (here, this planet!) that feels alien or just too dificult for you. - We tend to struggle with maintaining "boundaries" because of the following reasons:
At an energetic level: The heart and higher chakras do not know Boundaries - so the "school of thought" that teaches "all is One" is very familiar to us.
Boundaries live in the lower chakras, in fact the 3rd chakra or the Solar Plexus often referred to as the Power chakra and this is very unfamiliar to us!
When we spend a lot of time "out of body" we do not hear the messages of the 3rd chakra (often referred to as our gut feeling), warning us of unseen or unattended broken boundaries. We will also be ungrounded, so not supported by or receiving Earth energies hence meditation will not solve or make us feel better on any long term basis. (Although practising Mindfulness meditations at this point is very helpful .. washing up, ironing, walking, anything that is a chore when done in a mindful way calls us back to wholeness.)
We are more at home in the higher chakras with their level of perception. This is where Truth lives and rules; everything is perfect and Love is all there is. However Non duality exists here; so nothing is seen as bad, wrong or evil only Love exists. THIS REFLECTS A HIGH LEVEL OF SPIRTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND ATTAINMENT and at this level Earth is truly The Matrix .. & they are all truly asleep!
Prior to his transition, Jesus said, "Forgive them they know not what they do" .. over 80% of the population do not even reach the level of calibrated consciousness that reflects "working with integrity". This means people are not in Truth and their words cannot be trusted hence indigenous people "white men speak with forked tongues" .. how true! This is what we must remember, we are blessed to have this "knowing" of the beauty of Oneness but we cannot live there all the time.
The rules of the higher chakras although they give us insights to the "nature of reality" & being at Peace/Home; it should be an internal process and those rules do not apply to the embodied reality (Earth) where we currently live. When we understand this fully we can act from Compassion and not Sacrifice. Hence, it is vital we learn to be in our bodies, stay grounded and learn to live by the positive aspects of the lower three chakras. Otherwise before we have a chance to heal and evolve we will be crucified, chewed up and spat out! See Grounding Page.
Our challenge is truly to bridge the Gap between Heaven and Earth and we do that by "holding" our "knowing" of "how it should be" as in the "nature of reality" and continue to shine that knowing forth but without any expectation of seeing it materialise in the third dimensional world we currently live in. ...( read that again ... it is very important YOU MUST LET GO OF EXPECTATIONS OF HOW OTHER PEOPLE NEED TO CHANGE! This bad habit messes up your energy system ... you are not responsible for other people changing AND IN YOUR NEED TO BE YOU TAKE OF THEIR KARMA SO PLEASE DO NOT DO IT.)
We incarnated to help at a time when the LIGHT is needed most - so don't turn yours off by feeling upset by the behaviour of others - they just aren't there yet! AND AGAIN THAT IS NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY ... SHINE THE LIGHT AND MOVE ON PLEASE. Ignore this at your peril.
Page 9 of 25 Continuing Maintaining Boundaries
At a Physical Level: For whatever reason you forgot who you were; instead of shining a light to help the planet you turned your light off and tried to become like those you incarnated to "assist" in their evolvement. Whilst vulnerable in early years you may have received little or no parental guidance on how to maintain healthy boundaries; energetically, physically or emotionally.
Your own primary carers may have not respected boundaries, themselves or others.
As you tried to "fit in" you may have given your power away to those "others" - who often now have more control over your Energy field than you do. This applies long after you have left home or even cease to visit.
You may not have been given the knowledge that your Auric field was your personal Sacred Space.
Unconsciously or even consciously you gave your energy away to sustain others not connected to their Source of nourishment.
You became disempowered physically as well as mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
The good news is we change as we start do is this get back and stay in our bodies (most of the time!) If you do leave, then do it consciously and come back consciously.
As we focus on our sacred space hence making it stronger we remember energy and attention are the same thing! as we take it back we energetically move others out! keep our attention focused inwards (particularly if we have shakti energy) be selfish as to how and with whom you spend your time (energy). remember; remember energy and attention are the same thing .. so if someone has your "attention" they have your Energy!
Ground, ground and ground .... and run your energy linear (no more ingesting through the lower chakras, bad habit!) know, all that power we gave to others, we can now give to ourselves!
Page 10 of 25 Remember, responsibility belongs to God/dess, spirit, source and most importantly "karma follows responsibility" so in other words don't go there ...... the responsibility belongs to God - if you take on responsibility that is not yours, you will take on that person's karma in your own body.
You incarnated to show another way of being not to do it for them. When we are clear Divine energy will pour through us & that is what becoming "whole, healed and Holy is all about." Page 11 of 25 GROUNDING
Following Boundaries we move to grounding as our next task; this makes it sound very linear whilst in truth, boundaries, grounding and practicing being in-our-body happens simultaneously. However for the purpose of learning we become familiar with all the ingredients and their interaction with each other and finally they fall into synchronicity to become part of the whole mechanism.
We all experience the feeling of being "grounded" sometimes and with it the emotion of "contentment" and also the awareness of "Peace". To feel peace and be in our body is the ultimate attainment or goal because commonly the only way we currently feel better is to be very out-of-body.
The term being "grounded" is often used and people with a strong sense of Self are naturally well grounded. The obvious attributes of a well grounded person is their ability to stay strong even when surrounded by mayhem or negativity. They remain relatively "unaffected" by what is going on outside of them. Even if they become a target for derision or abuse their sense of Self remains, in other words their opinion of themselves is not altered by what anyone else says or does. How do they do this? First of all we need to be aware of the following possibilities:
They may not be sensitive; they may be experiencing the world primarily through their intellect. You may have tried to adopt this method as a coping strategy but it won't work for people who are primarily "feeling" based.
They have high self esteem hence a strong third chakra; warrior energy at its best. This one is rare but they may be very well balanced in all their elements; body, mind, spirit and emotions and when this is the case the 5th element emerges and has a very stabilising affect on the psyche.
They may be sensitive but have excellent boundaries in place. I know many sensitive people who were understood, nurtured and loved and as such blossomed into very natural psychic (six sensory) beings. They have not had to overcome losing their sense of Self, family members have not used them as a scapegoat to project their own (fears) shadow material and in the place of love they have not experienced being misunderstood by fear.
In conclusion and this is important, sometimes even the people who profess to care the most are albeit unintentionally using our energy as part of their own support system. If you are supporting anyone with your energy in a way that leaves you feeling drained then you will not be able to become and stay grounded. Members of our family, even if we have distanced ourselves from them, have a very powerful hold. We can cut these cords only for them to be reconnected almost immediately. It is also worth remembering that you can be affected energetically by someone who you "pull" through someone else. *This will be discussed later in the Course.
The way out of this, is to practice BOUNDARIES, GROUNDING AND STAYING IN YOUR BODY As you do this you become stronger, physically, emotionally and energetically. This is the ground work to apply other techniques but they will not work until these three become part of our natural or automatic behaviour. Regularly people ask me how often they need to practice these on a daily or weekly basis. In reply, I say, when we have had a pattern for many years or even lifetime(s) of being out-of-body it needs some attention to make it an automatic way of being. I no longer spend every day thinking about my aura in the way I am suggesting you do initially but believe me I immediately know if my boundaries are being broken or if I am giving my power to someone else. It has become as automatic for me as cleaning my teeth and washing; I recognise the feeling of become ungrounded or invaded and I act immediately. When your grounding, defining your Aura and being
Page 12 of 25
aware of when you are in and out of your body is a natural "way of being" your natural defences will warn you of any change to the contrary. I would like you to read the attachment "connecting to cosmic energy". The principle behind this is to connect to a form of nurturing that has not been available to us before, mainly due to poor parenting and/or lack of "love of Self".
We may have searched for this "love" outside of ourselves by continually looking for others (families, partners and even children) to give us something they have not got to give. The interesting thing is, they were never meant to give it - if they did we would not keep searching for its true origin. If you are having any difficulty with this concept, please don't worry it will evolve naturally through another teaching or awareness. At a very practical level I am going to explain it as follows:
We have a habit to ingest energy through the chakras normally the second and in doing so we deplete ourselves. We literally suck up negativity like a vacuum cleaner and transmute it through our own bodies; we do this because we are natural healers and it will be explained later but at the moment we just need to know we do it. This is not the right way to run energy.
Energy needs to run linear; we bring it down from above (Sun) and it enters the top 7th chakra, it runs straight down and we bring it up from below (Earth) and the two dance together; a perfect balance of Male and Female energies. This is the reference to Cosmic Parenting ... you will not feel separate, lonely or disconnected if you keep your energy running in that way, you will be in your body, with strong boundaries and well and truly grounded! Remember it takes a while to get a new pattern in place and while we are reinstating the new way of being it will feel difficult, ineffective and often boring.
We will often feel undisciplined if we fail to maintain it but do not give up because every day is making the new pattern stronger. I can only describe it like this, if we planted a seed and dug or pulled it up to see if it was growing after a week or so, what chance has it got; please be loving and nurturing to yourself as you would be to another in this situation.
FURTHER GROUNDING
- There are other additional grounding methods that you are probably aware of and that have value to strengthening the whole process.
MAINTAIN A REGULAR SPIRITUAL PRACTICE
- TIME SPENT ALONE IS ESSENTIAL
- SPEND TIME IN NATURE, WALKING, SWIMMING, RIDING, JUST "BEING"
- VERY YOUNG CHILDREN AND ANIMALS HAVE CLEAR ENERGY - OFTEN SO DO CHURCHES OF ANY DENOMINATION AND NOT NECESSARILY WHEN MASS OR SERVICES ARE BEING HELD
- REDUCE ANY ARTIFICIAL STIMULENT FROM SUSTANCE TO PROCESS IN OTHER WORDS COFFEE TO SHOPPING! AVOID NEWSPAPERS, TV AND IRRELEVANT CONVERSATION. DO NOT GOSSIP.
- DO NOT RESCUE ANYBODY!
- REGULAR NURTURING ROUTINE LETS YOUR BODY KNOW YOU MEAN BUSINESS.
- Keep warm, GET MORE SLEEP, WARM COMFORTING FOOD ... TRULY PAMPER YOURSELF.
- GET SELFISH - ONLY DO THINGS YOU WANT TO BECAUSE THEN YOU ARE DOING THEM WITH LOVE (THAT IS LOVING YOURSELF) AND NOT RESENTMENT.
- LEARN TO SAY "NO" AND HAVING SAID IT DO NOT JUSTIFY YOURSELF BECAUSE IN DOING SO YOU GIVE THE OTHER PERSON PERMISSION TO SHOOT STRAIGHT BACK ENERGETICALLY.
- IF YOU COMPLETELY "LOSE IT" FIND OUT WHAT WORKS FOR YOU BUT THESE ARE EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS:
- GET IN A WARM BATH WITH A COUPLE OF HANDFULS OF EPSOM SALTS DISOLVED INTO IT .. HAVE A LONG SOAK AND LET GO.
- GO FOR A LONG WALK, IRRESPECTIVE OF WEATHER, WRAP UP IF NEED BE!
- DANCE IF YOU LIKE IT AND IT GROUNDS YOU, ALTERNATIVELY GO TO SLEEP!
- TRACE YOUR MERIDIAN LINES OR TRY ANY OF "Donna Eden's" Energy techniques. See recommended reading.
If none of those work and even if they do PRAY we can ask for help that is what prayer is for as long as we listen for the answers and that is the beauty of meditation and contemplation. Prayer works only when there is a felt sense attached to it .. that feeling should be one of Holiness ... spend time cultivating it .. this is most important.
Remember gratitude feeds the 3rd chakra ... so pray and be grateful for whatever is in your life and even pray thanks for what seems like Yuk remembering what we resist persists. Truly if we apply gratitude to things we cannot understand they will either defuse or it will become clear and in the meantime we are making are Power chakra stronger! YES!
Personally when I have been disconnected from Source hence feeling "ungrounded" etc and none of the above work - it normally is something I have done inasmuch as my inner feelings have not been in alignment with my thoughts and actions. In other words I have compromised myself and for us it is often "in not wanting to speak our Truth" because we know the other(s) will not want to hear it or it will hurt them. THAT IS THE QUICKEST WAY TO DISCONNECT YOURSELF - TRY NOT TO DO IT.
Much later in the Course I cover this in more detail; an essay called The Message. Recommended Reading for this module Donna Eden Energy Medicine ISBN 1-58542-021-2 Sonia Choquette Trust Your Vibes ISBN 1 4019 0233-2 Doreen Virtue Earth Angels ISBN 14019 0048 8 Page 14 of 25
I am sorry that the picutres are not loading onto these pages ... this is making it very dense for reading ... please take it slowly ... Stage One Abdominal or Belly Breathing For the Release of Frozen Energy General information Breathing is the single most important and easiest to learn centering method. Texts linking proper breathing to peace of mind and well-being were written over three thousand years ago. When we are stressed, breathing is fast and shallow; air is taken only into the upper parts of the lungs and the work is done with the intercostals muscles between the ribs. Chest breathing creates and/or exacerbates anxiety, fatigue, rapid heart rate, confusion, inability to focus and muscletension.
Belly breathing is associated with lower heart rate, reduced blood pressure, increased energy and feelings of peacefulness, clarity, relaxation and creativity.
Put one hand on your abdomen and close your eyes. Your mouth should be closed, tongue resting at the back of the front teeth where they join the gums) Take a slow and deep breath in through your nose, open your mouth and sigh-out or expel the air slowly and completely through yourmouth. You will feel your belly flatten. Let the next breath (and all subsequent breaths) come in through your nose. Can you feel your`abdomen expand? If you cannot, just imagine that a balloon is inflating in your tummy when you breathe in and deflates when you breathe out. The out breath is longer than the in breath, like a gentle sign of relief.
Continue noticing the rise and fall of the belly for two to five minutes. When you have achieved a peaceful rhythm focus on the Heart the 4th chakra and just feel the Love, invite the Love to expand - feel no separation between you and that Love - THERE IS NOT SEPARATION - YOU AS AN EMPATH ARE LOVE.
Now feel yourself as transparent; to others you are invisible or like glass .. Start to feel and experience the Love from the Divine Source, shining as though lit through seven perfectly coloured filters. (see previous picture for imagery). Experience through your heart chakra the Divine Compassion of awareness of all seven of the chakras in your Self and in those of all humanity. Divine compassion flows and flowers to you and through you. You accept the purity that you've earned and you accept the perfect love that imbues your every action. You allow others to heal by your presence. As transparent, you take on nothing of their suffering but that which is divinely appropriate for you in helping you to destroy any of your illusions of separation. Rest in that perfect love. Page 17 of 25
Before you move to Stage Two please remember, this work needs to be done regularly preferably at a regular time. It is very important to create a pattern. As you chip away slowly and surely it will break down and you will feel more peaceful during the process.
Stage Two Concentration Meditation
This next process helps us work towards releasing "frozen energy" often caused by adopting the "immobility response" or freezing earlier in life. Often used as a coping strategy when younger or vulnerable, this now "frozen" energy wants to be released and it tends to surface as a deep fear of facing confrontational situations. Often referred to as being too sensitive or overly emotive, the person will experience panic or anxiety attacks when faced with the need to express themselves or conflict. This repressed energy will start to circulate under stress and the understanding of "why" this happens, will help the individual relax. As the energy starts to circulate it is trying to move through to the last stage of healing which is "release". Occasionally vigorous release sessions can rip through our bodies initiating healing however more often when we have been "holding" this for a number of years the more gentle techniques of "release" are needed to slowly dissipate the blocked and frozen life force.
Herbert Benson, M.D. a Harvard cardiologist first found that concentration meditation elicits what he calls the "relaxation response". What we are doing here is consciously using this relaxation meditation technique to concentrate on softening and releasing the frozen energy. All forms of meditation, in which the mind becomes quiet and focused, also elicit this innate physiological response that is the opposite of the body's stress or fight-orflight response. Belly breathing is an important corner-stone of the relaxation process.
Sitting with eyes closed, focus on belly breathing. Even if you cannot feel the "knot" of energy at the moment, know where it is, normally around the 2nd and 3rd chakra - put your attention to that area. Imagine your frozen emotions (water) as a solid lump of ice and let your "attention" start to melt it. Now imagine the fire element; a slow burning fire slowly melting the ice, light the fire in the centre of your belly. Try and do this with love and not fear, be gentle with yourself and know with patience this release will become rebirth. Now, repeat your focus phrase, prayer or mantra, in time to, either the out-breath or both the incoming and outgoing breath if it is a longer phrase. e.g. As you breathe in say "Energy " as your breathe out say "Released". As your breathe in say "I release" as you breathe out Say "I am healed" As you breathe in say "I am" as you breathe out say "At Peace" ... or choose what inspires you ... BREATHING FOR LIFE .... Let's change gear! For a fast mini-relax break any time during the day, Take a deep breath and release it slowly - this is a letting-go breath. It is like shifting gears physiologically and emotionally. Then shift into belly breathing;
Even 10 breaths can make a tremendous difference. Try breathing back from ten to one, one number on each out breath. By the time you get to one, you will notice that your breathing is much slower and more regular and that your body mind system is relaxing. With just a little practice, you will form a natural habit of breathing from your diaphragm.
Page 18 of 25 Empathic GROUNDING
To ground your lower three chakras - this is imperative to form a strong connection to the Earth Mother that supports us. It stabilises us physically and emotionally & is particularly valuable when we have a pattern of disassociation or being "out of body".
Sit comfortably with legs and arms uncrossed .. Take a deep breath and release .. Repeat this breath .. Breath is our connection to Source - it is our connection to life force when extinguished in the physical world we die.
Concentrate on your root chakra just below the pelvic bone. Feel it circulating (yang) anti -clockwise, it should be 4/5 inches in diameter and bright vibrant red - this is important so project vibrant colour on to it. You can use your hands to size it. Remember .....Attention and Energy is the same so the more attention you give to it the brighter and stronger it will become.
Take a thread from this chakra and drop it through the floor, Earth and root structure, feel it going down, down, down way into the centre of the Earth. Secure it tightly and in any way that seems the most powerful to you. Give it a tug making sure it is taut and secure. Follow you cord up and whilst sensing the connection ... call your birth name down the cord three times. Feel the vibration of your name along the length of the cord. The Positive Archetype of this Chakra is "The Mother" & the negative "The Victim" ... victims are rarely grounded .. Make sure you receive the nurturing energy of Mother Earth. REPEAT THIS FOR THE SECOND AND THIRD CHAKRAS SECOND CHAKRA JUST ABOVE THE ROOT CHAKRA AND BRIGHT ORANGE
- it represents water & this is where sensitive beings can ingest the unwanted or rejected emotions of others & Society's/cultural negativity in general. It needs to be very strong so repeat all the stages given in the root chakra - this chakra (ying) should rotate clockwise - If you are very absorptive of the emotions/feelings of others it is essential to give a lot of attention to - remember Energy & Attention are the same thing! Positive archetype the Empress/Emperor, negative the Martyr. Emperor/Empresses live in abundance, embracing and enjoying.
THIRD CHAKRA JUST ABOVE THE SECOND OR SACRAL CHAKRA AND IS BRIGHT YELLOW - this again is essential for sensitive beings to make as bright as possible it is our Power Chakra - our Sense of Self Work or Self Esteem. Practice gratitude it feeds the third chakra. Endeavour to place a healthy template on these three lower chakras, about five inches and watch for inactive stagnate chakras, keep them moving; looking down circulating (yang) anti-clockwise. Watch for colour leakage from other chakras, this maybe indicating they are reaching out to help an ailing chakra. It can indicate problems if the colour is from a chakra removed i.e. not adjacent. Question, what is wrong with the one next door that it is not helping and that lower or higher chakras are stepping in to try and balance. The Warrior is the positive archetype of this chakra versus The Servant as the negative. THE SECOND AND THIRD CHAKRAS NEED TO BE SECURED IN THE SAME WAY AS THE FIRST INCLUDING CALLING DOWN YOUR BIRTH NAME. Remember the heart and hand chakras should be connected & when they become disconnected we become jumpy. Just imagine the Heart energy and redirect a thread up into your shoulder and down the arm, feel it flowing into the center of your palm; stimulate it with the finger of your other hand (round in a small circle in the center of the palm). Repeat for the opposite arm and hand. Remember also to stimulate the foot chakras it helps keep us grounded. If they feel a bit stuck or inactive; push the energy down the legs with your hands and stimulate the chakra in the instep with your fingers; in other words round and round the garden! Page 19 of 25
BOUNDARIES please read, even if you think you have read it before.
Boundaries are truly the lynch pin or the core essence of healing for sensitive Beings.
Overtime we have forgotten that we are all born with our own "Sacred Space". This is given to us as an essential requirement for having a human lifetime/experience. That space is our Aura and the health of our auric field is what allows us to function as spiritual beings in a physical body. It enables us to experience the world whilst in our body but with a protective shell that defines our Sacred Space; in other words where we end and others begin. When our sense of Self is threatened and over-whelmed we become disempowered and dispirited and this is no longer a healthy place. We become (although we normally do not see it) very defensive; hyper vigilance or fight, flight or freeze start pumping through our bodies often inappropriately. At the same time we will be ungrounded and ingesting energy through our chakras.
In the early days, we start to close down our bright light very soon; developing coping strategies to survive in this dense world. From birth we rarely have good role models showing us how, by example to maintain a healthy aura. We are unaware at this point that we are often the teachers for our primary carers and their conditioned behaviour does not allow for anything outside the perceived "normal". Babies have no trouble filling up their "space" they fill their lungs and stretch into their personal space/auric fields on a regular basis. We quickly learn that to continue natural behaviour attracts disapproval from our carers. We start to manipulate our energy for approval and the light cells start closing.
Sensitive Beings at this stage normally experience feelings of isolation and loss; at this point Separation from Source is felt as a deep pain in the Heart and a longing to go home. I believe this strong feeling of "alienation &/or separation also comes from being most-of-the-time out of body hence also ungrounded. The energy can get dense around our feet increasing the feeling of separation or alternatively, many people who should be working from the Heart are caught up in their heads - my experience of this is particularly when people have been raised by more academic parents. I believe they take-on the belief that intellect rules which completely cuts them off from their intuition (heart voice) they experience deep pain of separation in not being connected to their lower chakras hence nurturing Earth energy. In other words they are struggling to understand everything intellectually but have lost their ability to FEEL - their feeling stancetends to be a product of memory.
In conclusion, on the whole, society recognises little beyond the physical, so our orthodox health practices concentrate solely on the physical human body. By the time the "illness/stress" shows in the body we have already experienced breakdown within our etheric bodies contained within the Aura.
So our Sacred Space is a well defined auric field, healthily housing, not only our physical body, with a strong sense of Self but also our subtle etheric bodies. As we become to understand, that we alone, should inhabit our auric field, we manifest a good sense of separation. We learn to say "No" to hosting family, friends and any others looking for a constant supplement of energy or even a quick energetic meal! Page 20 of 25
DEFINING YOUR AURA
A healthy Aura should be at arms length, in front, behind, above your head and below your feet. It is always at the end of our finger tips, any closer and we are trying to survive in too little space.
This is your Sacred Space; you have allowed others to use it at will & in doing so have given away your "Right" to move through the world intact - We have to take it back before we can function as "Whole", Healed, Holy ... all the same word. Put on some favourite music ... stand, dance, move in YOUR space, be like you were as a baby, really fill it up & feel your Space! It should be defined (the edge of) in a bright neon blue colour. Your Aura will be many colours and change on a daily, hourly or sometimes by the minute. You are defining the outside edge only in bright neon or electric blue. It is not by chance it is the colour used by police cars and ambulances; it commands respect and draws a very strong line.
Again Attention is Energy so the more attention you give to defining it, the stronger it will become. Remember what we put our "attention" on growsst ronger! We do not want our "personal space or Aura" to be a bus stop for others to walk in and out. We now adopt the attitude of "I welcome people in but by invitation only!" In other words, "Please respect my space".
Draw an egg shape, you are the yolk, paste your picture in the centre of the egg and/or write your birth name. Colour the edge neon blue. Write a list beside "By invitation only" & write a list marked Never. This brings our thoughts out of the shadow and into truth.
It is healthy and natural to have young children in our auric field but we need to cut the cord (gently move them out) as they become adolescents. Practice seeing &/or feeling "others" in their individual Auras, in this way we give them respect and it lessens the problems of enmeshment. As you move through your day particularly when you find yourself interacting with others, remember your Aura and that remembrance or attention will strengthen it, just KNOW IT IS THERE. Remember to practice seeing and feeling "others" in their Auras - if you cannot see or feel someone in their Aura they are likely to be in yours! This enmeshment or Energy Hosting means you are providing them with your energy - this is very draining for you as the Host.
Also check that you do not move in and out of the Auric fields of others - sometimes we do this because we are being inappropriately compassionate however it can also stop the "other" learning their own lessons. This pattern can be difficult to let go of but through a gentle process we erase and replace with a healthier attitude. Remember they say it takes 28 days at least to establish a new pattern & often much longer depending on the severity of the old habit but at some point it should become maintenance! Page 21 of 25
